Battery powered Christmas lights are more popular than ever this year. With everyone trying to cut back, many people are considering the alternatives to traditional Christmas lighting this year with battery Chirstmas lights. 

Here are my three favorite battery Christmas Lights sets for 2009:

1. Blue Battery Christmas Lights - These lights look great outside or as the solid color on the christmas tree.  The best part about putting these on the Christmas tree is that you can put your Christmas tree anywhere in the house.  With the batteries you are not forced to place the tree in one corner of the house.  
2. Red Battery Operated Wide Angle Christmas Lights - I haven’t personally ordered these lights yet, but it looks like these could go well around a Christmas wreath.  Light up the outside of your home, the fire place, the mantle, or any other part of your yard with these beautiful solid lights. 
3. Pure White Battery Christmas Lights - These beautiful white lights would look great in a tree, bush, lamp post, or any other outdoor areas where your neighbors can see your creative spirit.
